Yes this is a picture of Kurtis after his first successful feeding! I tried a lot of different things, but he just didn't want to eat food. Well I tasted that nasty rice cereal, and no wonder! So we are going to be skipping that one for know. He would rather eat peaches and sweet potatos.

Emily really liked the left over sweet potatos, she was begging me for them the whole time I fed Kurtis, and as soon as he was done, she was happy to finish off what was left.
He is so happy now that he can eat "real" food. He was so excited while he was eating the peaches, but he would squint one eye while he "chewed" then when he swallowed he would shutter, then ofcourse ask for more!

Thanks for all the suggestions! As far as Kurtis' cancer goes, we don't have any news. We won't until the beginning of February. We are just enjoying this fun break that we are having!

A little update on Emily. Since she has been so far behind in talking, we started to teach her ASL (american sign language) Now she can sign a lot of words, and she is starting to say them too! She loves her signing videos, and is so proud of herself.
